Singapore: Ibis Hotel Bencoolen St. - Hotel Review

DATES STAYED: APRIL 2012 & 2013

I've stayed at Ibis Hotel twice; my first was in April 2012, and the recent one was this April 2013. I must say I am highly satisfied with this hotel though it is located quite far from the nearest MRT Station which is either Bugis Station (CC2) or Bras Basah Station (EW12).

Masskara Festival 2013

The month of October has always been very special for fellow Bacolodnons and BacoleƱos alike. Simply because of the world-renowned and highly-anticipated event, the Masskara Festival.

Masskara Festival Bacolod

Masskara Festival was derived from two words coined by the late artist Ely Santiago; "Mass" which means a multitude of people, and "Cara" which in Spanish Language means face. Combining the two words forming "MassKara" simply means "a multitude of faces". It can also be directly associated with the Filipino word Maskara which means "mask". [source here]

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Truly Asia - Part 2

Here's the second half of my Malaysia travel escapade. They surely have numerous tourist destinations around the city of Kuala Lumpur and a day, I guess, wouldn't be enough to visit them.

Malaysia's China Town
Central Market / China Town

A popular place for tourists to shop souvenirs at a very low price is the KL Central Market and China Town. A lot of people flock the place every day at any time so be sure to prepare yourself walking through the crowded streets. Be cautious as well of your personal belongings while walking through the china town area.

A Countdown to MY Quarterlife

Thinking Thoughts_V13.05

Today is exactly 100 Days to go before I reach my Quarterlife. So where am I now?

100 Days to quarterlife of travelandcount

I'm starting to ask myself, "What have I learned from the past?" Or, "Is there really a learning from my past?" Hmmm.. As what other people say, we all will experience our own quarterlife crisis. It's like a time wherein we come to a point that we question our status in life, our achievements, growth and learning, social status, financial capabilities, travel maturity, etc.
