Puerto Princesa, Palawan: Honda Bay - Island Hopping Tour

Palawan is an island province teeming with pristine white sand beaches that are to be proud of. One of the selling points to foreigners for them to visit our country is that we have one of the nicest beaches not only in Asia but around the world!

Palawan surely made this selling point a reality as numerous foreign tourists had already personally experienced what it was like swimming in the clean oceans of our country. Puerto Princesa City, as well as El Nido and Coron, definitely has contributed greatly to further spark-gap this kind of tourism.

Just hire a tourism accredited tricycle which costs PHP 600 good for 5 persons, and the driver will bring you to almost all destinations. We're kinda lucky to have our tricycle "Lannie" and our driver Kuya Bernard because he's so kind and very accommodating to us.

Puerto Princesa, Palawan: Iwahig Firefly Watching

A relatively new tourist destination in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, the Iwahig Firefly Watching, has been slowly gaining its popularity. It's located along Iwahig River, which is about an hour away from the city proper and the roads going there are nice. The Iwahig Firefly Watching Tour costs PHP 600 per boat and good for three persons.

It only started its operation last 2008 because a team of local environmental advocates stayed over the night along the mangrove areas of Iwahig River to study the mangrove biodiversity. They then discovered the rich colonies of fireflies blooming at night time and through the help of the city government, they started developing and improving the place for it to be tourist-worthy spot.

Siem Reap, Cambodia: A Quick Tour Around the City - 2D/1N Itinerary Guide

Siem Reap City in Cambodia is such a lovely place that should be included on one's travel list. The cultural and heritage value of the city is still being preserved and the rural scenery is just as perfect as it should be. Peaceful, pollution-free, no traffic, and very few high-rise concrete buildings!

As a tourist, I found it safe walking on the streets both in the morning and in the middle of the night. No wonder why tourists enjoy Siem Reap and some consider the city as their safe haven and comfort place to escape the busy life they experience in their own hometowns.
